Chester D. Hagadorn, son of Charles Hagadorn and Mary LNU, born Oct 1869, Troy, Rensselaer CO, NY, died 1929, Tampa, Hillsborough CO, FL, married Lillian Reid, born 24 Oct 1880, Canada, died Sep 1969, Tampa, Hillsborough CO, FL.
Chester Hagadorn and his wife Lillian moved to this area from Canada and according to numerous accounts in the Bunnell Home Builder from 1913 to 1917, they had a farm south of Bunnell and not far from Gore Lake where he produced various crops. They later moved into Bunnell, and were active in the affairs of the community.
In the list of Registered Voters in the Town of Bunnell dated 09 Dec 1915, C. D. Hagadorn gave his age as 46 and occupation, Plumber.
She worked with a Red Cross Group during WW I and they attended the Methodist Church but later were active in a group to organize a Christian Church, however even though they had acquired a lot to build a church, no record is found of the church being build.
Lillian Reid Hagadorn and Chester D. Hagadorn were charter members of Bunnell Chapter No 93 0 E S. She served as the first Worthy Matron of the chapter.
